TWO DAYS LUALENYI CAMP CONSERVANCY SAFARI

DESCRIPTION:

Lualenyi camp is located on a private 430 km2 wildlife conservancy next to Tsavo West National Park, Taita Hills and Lumo sanctuary. A safari at Lualenyi camp is ideal for spotting unique wildlife especially during our night safari.

 

2 DAYS LUALENYI CAMP SAFARI ITINERARY:

DAY 1:

 

With an early pick up from your hotel at about 06:00hrs in the morning, we drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway where traditional coastal culture slowly and noticeably begins to transform into semi-arid terrain the closer we approach the outskirts of Tsavo West National Park.

 

Arriving at Lualenyi Private Conservancy, we drive towards the direction of Lualenyi Camp briefly looking for any resident wildlife that traversed from Tsavo West into the conservancy.

 

Set on its own private wildlife reserve Lualenyi camp conservancy is part of the Lumo Sanctuary and Taita Hills Sanctuary so access is available to explore all three combined conservancies during game drives as we search for lions, elephants, giraffe, buffalo and other wildlife. On arrival at Lualenyi Camp, you will be assisted with check in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation. 

 

In the afternoon at about 16:30 hrs, begin with a long game drive in search of resident animals and birds, concentrating on maximizing your photo opportunities of any wildlife we may spot. This afternoon game drive will extend into a night game drive as we keep looking for exotic wildlife that come out only in the dark. We then return to Lualenyi camp around 20:00hrs for dinner and a drinks around the camp fireplace.

 

DAY 2:

 

The following morning, enjoy an early breakfast at about 06:30hrs and check out of the tents at Lualenyi Camp. We then begin a long morning game drive in search of animals and big cats that may have come out into the open during the night. Enjoy a coffee break while on safari followed by a specially prepared bush brunch at around 11:00 under a tree as we finish the game drive.

We then exit the conservancy and begin the return journey via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway to drop you at your hotel and conclude the 2 days lualenyi camp conservancy safari.

Lualenyi Camp is an exclusive 4 tented camp so accommodation is limited and booked many months in advance. It one of the few places in Kenya where you can have an authentic out of africa experience.
